Symptoms

Knee strains can happen traumatically or just from moving around on your feet a lot during the day. This program will take you through a routine for overall good knee health that will decrease your pain and keep your knee from buckling.

Treatment

Stretching and strengthening are important at any joint. Here’s what you need to stretch and strengthen for good knee health: the HAMSTRINGS which are the big muscles on the back of your thigh, the QUADS which are the muscles on the front of the thigh, the HIP and GLUT muscles (those big ones between your leg and your back), and the CALF muscles that are on the back side of the lower leg. Basically all the muscles that surround or cross over the knee joint. The muscles all provide stability, and also mobility for the knee.
